Counterperson, Material Handler, Outside Sales Representative
Position Title: Counterperson

A counterperson’s job at Standard Auto Parts consists of assisting of customer in the store as well as on the phone. Education / Experience Required:
High School diploma or GED
1 year of automotive experience
1 year of retail experience
Comfortable with computers

Position Title: Material Handler
General Descripton:
Standard Auto Parts, a leader in the automotive aftermarket has an immediate opening for a full time material handler to work at our 2020 Hollins Ferry Road warehouse location. The hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday thru Friday. We are 3 blocks from the bus line stop. The position consists of unloading trucks of material with a forklift and putting the material away accurately on the shelves. We are seeking an aggressive self -motivated individual who can work independently with little supervision. The ideal candidate should be skilled in the use of a forklift; if not training will be provided. Knowledge of automotive aftermarket parts or warehouse experience would be helpful. However, we would be willing to train an aggressive team player. Experienced Outside Sales Professional
Must have proven sales track record. The successful candidate must be a hardworking individual who wants to be part of our growth and success. Must be outgoing, friendly and have the ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
Entry Level Outside Sales
Minimal sales experience required. We are willing to train the right person. Responsible for maintaining existing base of clients and prospecting new clients. Excellent communication skills required. Must be highly motivated and dedicated.
